About Me

When I was little my go-getter, over achiever, idol of a big sister asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.

I think I'd like to be a mom.
Well, I mean like what do you want to be? A doctor? my sister said.
No. I want to be a mom.
Okay, you can be a mom, but where do you want to work? Do you want to be a teacher?
No. I want to be a mom.
Think about this for a minute Cassie, you can be anything you want! An astronaut, a veterinarian, a nurse. Anything!
Okay, I know, a firetruck!

Turns out I couldn't be a firetruck. But, I did become exactly what I really wanted to be. A mom. And that's the proudest role I have. My identical twins, Addie & Emily, are two and they are a total handful. They exhaust me and somedays I have one too many mom fails, but I also know I'm a good mom and wouldn't want my life to be headed in any other direction.

I've been married to my husband, Mitch, for six years and he's seriously been the best match for me. We are far from perfect, but its more about progression, right? I wouldn't want to share my happiest and most saddest moments with anyone else. Currently, we're in the middle of building a house. And when I say we're building a house, I mean we're literally building a house ourselves. Mitch and his dad have sacrificed their worlds and bent over backwards to create our haven of peace that's nestled in a small Utah town. And, I pretty much feel like the luckiest girl on earth to be where we're at.

Three years ago I started my own business in health and wellness and it turned out to grow larger than I ever imagined it could. My experiences have taught me to dream and achieve. I can look back and see the times I struggled the most, were the times I was growing the most. And, I've learned that that's the case with almost anything. So right now, I'm just focusing on surviving/loving motherhood and making it to the day we move into our new house so we can get settled into a new normal.
